Notes
- After parking in the “car park in the sky”, we discovered the Campsies were suffering from a low cloud. Visibility was about 10 metres. We used the edge of the hill as a handrail to climb
- Once we went across to Lecket Hill and lost the view back to Glasgow, it cleared up
- Super boggy. Alexander had the wrong shoes on and got very wet
- The pyramid things on top of hills are called “Trig Points”
- The human placed a bunch of rocks on top of a hill are called a “Cairn”
- Loads of wildlife, we spotted a number of frogs and birds
- Alexander loved discovering a thistle
